Optimised Website Design for all your requirements

Optimised Website Design. Saving you time and money by creating a website already optimised for the major search engines.

At GlassBox Media we develop visually stunning web sites which will already flow with optimised keywords, descriptions and content. By doing this, the site is already SEO friendly. Our focus is to increase visitor traffic to our client’s web sites, through careful search engine optimisation for Google, Yahoo, Ask and Bing.

Optimised Web-development is a phrase that describes the procedures used to optimize – or to design from scratch – a website to rank well in search engines.  Website optimization includes processes such as adding relevant keyword and phrases on the website, editing meta tags, image tags, and optimizing other components of your website to ensure that it is accessible to a search engine and improve the overall chances that the website will be indexed by search engines.

Optimisation services are often sold at vast cost and ongoing expense, on false promises of ranking number 1 every time, unrealistic claims of sales converstions and obscure jargon and lead to Black Hat SEO.

We at GlassBox Media CIC pride ourselves in our affordable low cost monthly packages, one off SEO overhauls and most importantly the use of White Hat SEO.

We offer a 30minute consultation and website analysis.

During this we shall assess your current websites performance across all search engines and identify what it is your competitors are up to in order to out rank you!

We pride ourselves in our customer service and during your consultation we will gain a solid understanding of how your business and website operates

This will help us in implementing improvements to your sites weaknesses and play on its existing strengths.

If you’re looking to increase your SEO ranking, traffic to your website and see more enquiries turn into sales, then we can help.

We develop WordPress and HTML websites already optimised for the major search engine algorithms in order to give you a boost in getting your side found right from the outset. By building a site with the consideration of search engines from the very start, the rankings achieved will not only be higher but will also last longer.

We create search engine friendly websites with your client needs in mind so that there is no need to re-work any pages later on.

We eliminate any chance of harming your websites potential rankings from the start by not using any excessive flash or creating an unfriendly cms (content management system).

Animated Video Production in Suffolk

Here are examples of Animation we have created.

Gemma Thompson of Social Media Illumination came to us to produce a series of tutorial videos which enable her clients to maximise Social Media in their marketing strategy.

We used a combination of Green Screen and motion capture to animate her company lighthouse logo and the various social media icons.

Paul Johnstone trains people to get the best out of their public speaking.

We filmed ‘On The Money’ which is due to be sold as a training DVD. We used Green Screen to allow illustrative points to appear as and when Paul is talking.

We created a series of animated Christmas Videos for ourselves to thank our clients and also an assortment of Community First Responder groups in Essex to thank their communities. These have been built from scratch by hand using Adobe Software.

We produced a book trailer for Author Craig Sennett for part one of his Vanstone Novels. This is entirely animated using Adobe special effects software along with some stock images.

One of our other clients is an off-road fanatic and he approached us to do a fun video of him off-roading, which he could share on an internet forum of other off road enthusiasts. We created this using the After Effects Adobe Software.

Prices Available on Request.

James – filming on location

I joined GlassBox Media CIC August 2013, and have since worked as a graphic designer and editor, spending much of my time developing promotional and marketing materials for the Fuel for Life campaign, which is supporting Blood Bike Riders and Community First Responder groups. I apply my design skills to our website development and animated video services.. Prior to joining GlassBox Media CIC I spent 3 years studying Media Production at the University of Lincoln, graduating in September 2013.

My major areas of practical study at university were Multi-Camera filming and Design, supplemented by my dissertation on the subjects of Crowd Funding and Digital Content Distribution for which I was proud to earn a 1st.

I actively apply all I’ve learnt from university to each new piece of work, allowing me to consistently provide great service to our customers. In the past I’ve worked in a variety of different roles, including catering, retail and even electronics production, all of which have highlighted the importance of providing a high quality product and good customer relations.

In my spare time I’ll often be found with my head in a good book, though I also spend much of my time model building. In the warmer months (British weather allowing) I like to spend time camping, which allows me to travel and explore new places.

Susan Weinschenk, Ph.D. — also known as The “Brain Lady.” As a leading speaker, author and consultant to brands like Amazon, Disney, Walmart and South By Southwest, she brings a deep understanding of the psychology of customers and why they do what they do.
She has uncovered four core, very human reasons we are drawn to video:

#1: The Fusiform Facial area makes us pay attention to faces – this is an actual brain function that hard-wires us to use the human face as a gathering point for information and believability.
#2: Voice conveys rich information – yes, the simple sound of a human voice speaking to us has an amazing way of converting information into meaningful content.
#3: Emotions are contagious – here’s a subtle but powerful aspect that we may take for granted. The body language of emotions is an appealing and we naturally love to share.
#4: Movement grabs attention – another trait that runs deep in our collective anthropological DNA is the power of peripheral motion. Since the stone age, we’ve survived by noticing things in motion – looks like we still do!

The content myths surrounding video advertising

BY PHIL TOWNEND ON 24 APRIL 2013:

To say that online video sharing has exploded would be an understatement. The facts speak for themselves: four billion items are shared on Facebook every day and more than 700 videos are shared on Twitter every minute. According to Comscore, branded online video ads account for 22.6% of all online videos viewed.

So how can advertisers use this tidal wave of social video sharing to build better brand engagement? There may have been a time when the idea of predicting the success of a YouTube video before it is even launched may seem as far-fetched as guessing which unheard pop song will become a number one hit.

But scrutinising views is not enough – in a digital world, brands need to understand what drives consumers to engage with their content. A wildly successful video ad is usually seen as a black swan, an outlier that’s unpredictable and unrepeatable. Discovering how to create and distribute highly shareable content, repeatedly and at scale, should be at the top of every brand marketer’s wish list read more.

The digital advertising solution provider says click-through rates (CTR) for online video are 27.4 times that of standard banners ads and almost 12 times that of rich media ads. Gleaned from a study of over 3 billion global ad impressions monitored during the first six months of 2012, the findings show an increase in consumer attention to video advertising.

Director of industry services and head of the Digital Video Committee at the Interactive Advertising Bureaux (IAB), Seneca Mudd, says the research underscores the increased importance of video interactivity for marketers and agencies.

The IAB’s Video Ad Serving Template (VAST) and Video Player-Ad Interface Definition (VPAID) standards were also tested in the research. Globally, people were 10% more likely to watch an interactive video ad (VPAID) to completion than a rich media ad that includes video. The overall interaction rate for VPAID was 9.57%, meaning that one in ten people interacted with an ad while the video was playing, for example, with a game or a survey.

“As key pillars of the IAB Video Suite, VAST and VPAID allow the marketing community to drive true engagement with vital creative experiences through video messaging,” Mudd adds.

Ricky Liversidge, chief marketing officer of MediaMind’s parent company DG calls the findings strong evidence that consumers are keen to engage with brands via online video content. “As online video formats become more mainstream, the marketer will be free to focus on simply adjusting their video creative for any platform – TV, online or mobile ,” Liversidge says.

Social Media SEO

What we can do to raise your Social Media SEO

* Create a compelling video to engage with your target customers using latest Adobe special effects software, technology and animation

* Bring exposure to your business, through helping you correctly promote your video on the various online platforms available

* Help elevate you from your competitors

Video carries a lot more impact than text: yes, video is linear and your audience has to sit through it, but video gives you the chance to create an impact, guide your audience through things and give your audience the chance to really get to know you.

And there are so many platforms available from which to engage that audience through:

In addition to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Slideshare, Pinterest and Google + there are two more rising sites in the UK.

The top two social media outlets embracing social video are Vine and Instagram two platforms which are easily manageable and will target audiences across a variety of age brackets.

Vine

vine

It’s safe to say Vine is here to stay. Twitter’s social video sharing tool has gained rapid popularity and many brands are using the six-second loop videos in creative ways to engage their audiences and build brand visibility. Brands are using the platform to create mini-advertisements, behind-the-scenes tours, contests, and more. Vine videos can be viewed and shared from directly within Twitter and it’s easy to capture your audience’s attention.

Instagram Video

instagram

This mobile photo editing and sharing app added 15-second video option to create a complete sharing experience for its already established user base. With classic Instagram filters and one-play option instead of looping the videos, Instagram provides a viewer-friendly experience. Combining photos and videos, this social community is booming with brands integrating video into their social media strategy. According to Simply Measured, 40% of leading brands are active on Instagram and over 25% are posting more than one photo or video per week.

YouTube Advice and Guidance

Go to YouTube.com and create an account – be sure to select a user name that is the name you want your channel to be, for example CP Communications’ Channel, set up your channel with your profile information about you or your business, select your profile picture – make sure it is either a professional one of yourself or your logo, select what colour theme you want your channel to have – this can follow your brand colours or stick to basic colours such as black, grey and white, and once you’re happy with the set up you can then start uploading your own videos.

Use a good camera
The whole point of a YouTube video is to visually show or demonstrate your product, service or expertise. There is no point in uploading a video onto YouTube that is fuzzy, dull or blurry.

Get the lighting right
Again the whole point of YouTube is to visually get your message across professionally and that also includes making sure the video looks professionally made. Make sure the lighting is even and that there are no dark shadows.

Buy a good microphone
There is nothing more frustrating than trying to decipher what someone is saying while watching a video. If you want your messages, tips and advice to be clear investing in a good quality microphone is a good idea. Also, remember to test the sound before doing the whole recording.

Aim for one to five minutes
Your audience will probably be busy people who have short attention spans. With that in mind your audience will most likely press stop after the two minute mark. If you can, create short two minute videos but if you have to go over be sure to keep within the five minute range.

Practice, practice, practice!
Try recording some samples and upload them as private videos. This will give you a chance to take note of what you do well and what you are doing wrong and work on it. Make sure to plan what you are going to say before you do the recording.

Allow plenty of time for filming
Talking directly to a camera is not as easy as it seems. Be patient and just keep persisting – do your takes over and over. As time goes by you will start to relax and everything will flow much easier.

Discovering how to create and distribute highly shareable content, repeatedly and at scale, should be at the top of every brand marketer’s wish list read more.

We have delved into the emotions which drive people to share branded videos on the web to identify key trends for brands and agencies looking to create web content that is truly contagious. In partnership with Dr Karen Nelson-Field at the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute, we will be releasing the results of two years’ worth of academic and scientific research into video sharing at the Festival of Media Global in Montreux on 30 April.

We found that there is indeed a formula to social video success, and that there are key content myths that need to be dispelled. Believe it or not, our research shows that there is no relationship between the level of overt branding in a video and how much sharing of that video is achieved. Yet many social video marketers believe that if your brand is noticeable, it will make people reluctant to forward it to their network.

Marketers are still applying a subtle approach to the branding that appears in online videos, compared with that in standard TV campaigns, on the misconceived premise that obvious branding hampers sharing success. There is plenty of evidence that poorly branded advertising is ineffective – like throwing away money.

In our data, on average, more than a third of the video passes before the brand name is even revealed. This means that for most videos to have any effect on the viewer, it needs to be viewed at least one-third the way through its duration. At this current rate of branding, social videos expose the viewer to the brand at just one third of the rate of the standard TV commercial.

It might not surprise you to hear that videos that play to our emotions are more successful than those that don’t, but you might not have realised by just how much. Online videos which elicit strong positive emotions, such as hilarity or exhilaration, are shared most often. At minimum, it is shared 30% more often than material that draws any other emotional response from its audience. This may seem obvious, but currently more than 70% of all commercial videos evoke weak emotions.

Videos that elicit strong emotions are also remembered the most – in fact three times more than ‘low arousal’ content. The number of shares a video attracts, whether it is user-generated or commercial, is linked to the strength of emotion it elicits from its viewers.

The stronger the emotion, the more likely it is going to be shared.

Therefore brands should aim to create content that makes us weep a river, laugh out loud or shiver with delight as opposed to merely smile or frown. That’s the way to get cut-through when there’s so much content available. The brands of the future are the brands creating content outside of the traditional 30-second TV spots that elicits a powerful emotional response from their audience.

Why are video shares so important for brands? The Unruly Social Ad Effectiveness Study that we conducted last year showed that brand recall and brand association rose 7% among viewers who had been recommended the video versus viewers who found it by browsing. Enjoyment of the video rose by 14% among viewers who had viewed following a recommendation. And this in turn increased purchase intent by 97% and brand association by 139%.

We’re all too aware that opportunities for earned media and the word-of-mouth which follows are too good to miss. The two biggest content marketing challenges facing CMOs right now are how to make content which resonates and how to activate the social web. Marketers might not have a crystal ball, but these insights into what makes content go viral can answer some of their questions.
